The first session of the symposium titled 'Nationalization and Indigenization in Health' was moderated by the President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, Dr. Hakki Gursoz made it. Star Newspaper Ankara Representative Mustafa Kartoğlu, describing the subject of “Nationalization Policies in Turkey”, said that Turkey should develop itself in the field of health devices as well as in the field of defense industry. Giving information on the subject of "The Impact of Nationalization in Health on the Economy", KİK Member Mehmet Atasever stated that those who receive health services in Turkey no longer have to pay high wages. Mehmet Aydıngün, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ostim Medical Industry Cluster and Chairman of the Board of TMS TIBBİ DEVICE, made a presentation on "Examples of Domestic Material Production in the Health Sector" and evaluated the problems experienced in the medical field in health care. As the last speaker of the first session, President of Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, Dr. Hakkı Gürsöz made a presentation on “Nationalization Studies in Health in Turkey”.
